Over 2,500 years ago, the Buddha taught the meditation for cultivating Loving Kindness as a way for us to reconnect with the immeasurable treasury of deep and unconditional love that each of us has within us. Most of us long to be loved and to become more loving; instead we often find ourselves feeling more and more lonely, frustrated and hard-hearted. Loving Kindness meditation begins with developing a more kind relationship with ourselves. From the basis of a healthy friendliness with ourselves, the meditations systematically lead us to develop and extend our love for others and, ultimately, for all beings. When our heart and mind are filled with love, we naturally experience happiness and well-being. These retreats will be presented by Andrew Warr. Melbourne Retreat: 4 days 6 April to 9 April 2012 |

Andrew has been a student of Sogyal Rinpoche for more than 25 years. He now specialises in presenting Loving Kindness meditation.
